§ 72.007 COMMERCIAL TRUCK AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   No person shall park a commercial licensed vehicle with a load capacity greater than 21,000 pounds on any city street for a period of time longer than the time reasonably necessary to load or unload the vehicle.
   (B)   No person shall park any vehicle over 30 feet in length on any city street for a period of time longer than the time reasonably necessary to load or unload the vehicle.
   (C)   (1)   Divisions (A) and (B) above shall not apply to stops made by such vehicles for meals during the day or night for one hour, if the street is well lighted at the point of parking.
      (2)   In addition, divisions (A) and (B) above shall not apply in the case of an accident or other emergency when the operator of any such vehicle is reasonably required to leave said vehicle.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle, as defined in this section, upon any street unless it is currently registered and displays current license plate and registration, and:
      (1)   If unattached to a motorized vehicle, is secured by the use of a wheel chocks; and/or
      (2)   Any utility vehicle exempt from registration by state statue shall not be parked on any city street for a period of longer than 72 hours.
   (E)   (1)   It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle, as defined in this section, upon any street for a period longer than 72 hours. Such vehicle shall be considered in violation of this section if parked in any one location for longer than 72 hours or if the vehicle has been parked in one or more locations within the same block for such 72-hour period.
      (2)   Except: any above described vehicle parked in the street associated with a current, ongoing and continuing construction or repair project is exempted from this section as long as it is otherwise in compliance with this section. Vehicles and trailers shall not be placed or parked within 30 feet of an intersection.
   (F)   Vehicles and trailers, as defined in this section, shall not be placed or parked within 30 feet of an intersection.
   (G)   It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle defined in this section on the street which is connected to any water, electric or other utility wire, pipe or hose which crosses a public right-of-way or sidewalk.
   (H)   It shall be unlawful to park, place, store, abandon or otherwise leave any unmounted camper or watercraft on any public street, alley, sidewalk or right-of-way at any time.
