§ 72.005 LIMITATION ON USE OF PARKING STALLS IDENTIFIED AS RESERVED FOR HANDICAPPED.
   (A)   Any parking stall identified by either sign, painting or other plainly visible marking as reserved for use by the handicapped shall mean that a motor vehicle may not be parked in such parking stall unless said motor vehicle has either license plates or a window identification issued by the state and identifying the operator of the vehicle as handicapped. The parking privileges granted by this section also apply to vehicles displaying a distinctive handicapped license plate or transferable identification issued by any other state or nation; provided, such identification is displayed on the vehicle utilized by the handicapped person.
   (B)   This section applies to and may be enforced on both public property and private property which is used or intended for use by the public.
