SECTION 103.5.1. THE FOLLOWING FEE SCHEDULE IS ESTABLISHED AND
ADOPTED FOR PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS OF NEW BUILDINGS, ADDITIONS
AND ALTERATIONS, SIGNS, DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS, MECHANICAL,
PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, ETC.

The Maximum Building Permit Fee shall be assessed per structure where construction
costs including labor and materials total $25,000,000.00 or more and only when the project can provide independent qualified code compliance services without cost to the City. It is within the sole discretion of the City to determine whether the inspection agency satisfies the City requirements for ensuring the minimum building standards in order to safe guard the public health, safety and general welfare of the structure.
SECTION 103.5.2 THE FOLLOWING FEE SCHEDULE IS ESTABLISHED AND
ADOPTED FOR INSPECTION FEES FOR LETTERS OF COMPLIANCE FOR RENTAL -DWELLINGS, RENTAL DWELLING UNITS, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, COMMERCIAL BUILDING UNITS AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS.

SECTION 110.3. Is hereby amended to include the following provision:
"Unless authorized by W.Va. Code §8-12-16, or absent the express consent of the owner, if the owner of a premises fails to comply with a demolition order within the time prescribed, the legal counsel of the jurisdiction shall institute appropriate action in the Circuit Court of the County in which the property is located against the owner of the premises where the structure is or was located seeking an Order causing the structure to be demolished and removed. Thereafter, the local jurisdiction, through an available public agency or by contract or arrangement with private persons, shall demolish and remove the structure and the costs thereof, as well as all fees and costs incurred in the legal action, shall be a lien upon such real estate."
SECTION 112.4: Is hereby amended to provide for a fine of not less than $100.00 and not more than $500.00, per incident of noncompliance.
SECTION 302.4: Is hereby amended to prohibit weeds or plant growth in excess of twelve (12) inches in height.
SECTION 304.14: Is hereby amended to provide for enforcement of the provision as set forth therein between the dates of April 15th to October 1st.
SECTION 602.3: Is hereby amended to provide for enforcement of the provision as set forth therein between the dates of October 1st April 1st.
SECTION 602.4. Is hereby amended to provide for enforcement of the provision as set forth therein between the dates of October 1st April 1st.
