§ 33.03 PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS OF PEACE OFFICERS.
   No person shall receive an appointment under §§ 33.01 and 33.02 after January 1, 1970, unless, not more than 60 days prior to receiving such appointment, he or she has passed a physical examination given by a licensed physician, showing that he or she meets the physical requirements necessary to perform the duties of the Chief of Police, Deputy Marshal or other peace officers, as established by the Village Council. The Mayor shall, prior to making any such appointment, file with the Police and Firemen’s Disability and Pension Fund a copy of the report or findings of said licensed physician. The professional fee for such physical examination shall be paid by the Village Council.
