Where village inspection reveals that a sidewalk fails to comply with the standards set forth in § 93.27, such that the duty imposed in § 93.26 has not been met, the inspector shall serve a notice on the person burdened with the duty to maintain, instructing that person to take appropriate corrective action by the date specified. The aforementioned notice may, at the option of the Village Administrator be coordinated with the passage of a resolution of necessity; provided however, the notice shall provide not less than the minimum period of corrective action set forth in R.C. Chapter 729, and said notice shall be delivered according to that chapter.
