(A) The Village Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed and authorized to take all the steps necessary or appropriate, in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and the State Auditor’s Office, to create a village fund to be designated the Police Officer Training Fund.
(B) The source of revenue deposited into the Police Officer Training Fund shall be the state provided moneys for the annual continued professional training of the village’s commissioned police officers, and said funds shall be used for the village police officers to comply with the continued professional training mandates from the State of Ohio.
