(A) The Village Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed and authorized to take all the steps necessary or appropriate, in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and the State Auditor’s Office, to create a village fund to be designated as the Police Income Tax Fund.
(B) The source of revenue deposited into the Police Income Tax Fund shall be two-tenths of one percent (0.2%) of the revenue received from the 1.5% Village Municipal Income Tax, and said funds shall be used solely for the operation of the Village Police Department.
