§ 96.03 FACILITY RENTAL POLICY.
   (A)   The following rules and regulations shall be applied to all persons or entities who intend to reserve park facilities. Copies of this policy shall be available at the Town Hall and the Park Department office.
   (B)   The policy shall read as follows.
BREMEN PARK DEPARTMENT FACILITY RENTAL POLICY
1.   Reservations
   a. Renters must reserve facilities at least one (1) week prior the desired rental date. A rental fee and refundable rental deposit are required to reserve any facility. No reservation is final until both of these fees are paid and the Town of Bremen confirms the facility reservation. We highly recommend that you do not advertise or send invitations for your date until confirming your rental with the Town of Bremen. The rental deposit will serve as a refundable damage/cleaning deposit.
   b. Payment of rental fee and refundable rental deposit are due at the time of reservation. A reservation cannot be made without complete payment of both the rental fee and rental deposit.
   c. In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid will be returned if cancellation is made no later than one (1) week prior to reserved date. If the renter cancels a rental less than one (1) week prior to the reserved date, the Town of Bremen will return the refundable rental deposit, but the renter will forfeit the rental fee.
2.   Renters’ Responsibilities
   a. A responsible adult must be present at the rented facility at all times during the rental period.
   b. Renters will be responsible for stating approximate arrival and departure times as part of the rental application. All gatherings must be finished and cleaned up at 8:00 p.m.. Renters staying after 8:00 p.m. will automatically forfeit the rental deposit.
   c. The Town of Bremen owns the facilities and park property. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Smoking is strictly prohibited within enclosed facilities and within 8 feet of enclosed facilities’ entrances.
   d. Renters will be responsible for any and all damages at the replacement cost (material and labor) as determined by the Town of Bremen Parks Department through the inspection process. This includes but is not limited to:
      1.   Missing chairs and tables.
      2.   Damage to walls or other building areas.
      3.   Excessive damage to grassed areas (by vehicles, slip-n-slides, etc.).
   e. The renter will forfeit deposit if the building and area are not left in proper order. Leaving the facility in proper order includes but is not limited to:
      1.   Placing all trash (including table coverings) in provided trash cans.
      2.   Removing all decorations (including glitter, fasteners, tape and string) completely.
      3.   Cleaning up all food and drinks (including spills) and sweeping the floors.
      4.   Returning tables and chairs to their original configurations.
      5.   Turning off the facility’s lights and closing the doors.
      6.   If renting a facility with a kitchen: wiping down all counters, sinks and stove after use.
      7.   If renting a facility with self-contained restroom: placing any trash or restroom debris in provided trash cans.
   f. The Park Department will refund the refundable rental deposit only after has completed the inspection process. Depending on your rental date, it may take up to four (4) weeks for the Town of Bremen to issue the renter a check.
