§ 73.073 WARNING DEVICE REQUIRED.
   No person shall ride a bicycle unless it is equipped with a suitable bell or other warning device audible for a distance of 100 feet or more. Whistles or sirens are prohibited as warning devices.

§ 73.074 BRAKES REQUIRED.
   Every bicycle shall be equipped with a brake which will enable the operator to make the braked wheels skid on a dry, level, clean pavement.

   No person shall operate his or her bicycle at a speed greater than permits him or her to bring his or her vehicle to a stop within the assured clear distance ahead.
