Any other use of a fire hydrant is by special exception only and requires a permit. A copy of this permit must be kept on the job site and made available for inspection upon the request of any Water Department Employee or Town Official. Anyone caught using a fire hydrant illegally will be in violation of the Water Ordinance and liable for fines and penalties described in section 7(B).
