§ 52.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   A violation of § 52.023 of this chapter constitutes a Class B infraction and requires payment for the water consumed at the rate of $10 per day during the period the water was turned on without authority from the town.

   (C)   If a connection is made to any transmission line or existing local distribution system without first obtaining a permit as set out in § 52.026 of this chapter, the individual or owners of real estate will be subject to a charge of $150 a day for each day the connection was unlawfully installed and be required to remove the connection until a permit is obtained.

   (D)   As set out in § 52.028(B)(2), property owners may be charged the sum of $5 per day for each day following the five-day period of grace that water wastage is allowed to continue.

   (E)   Any user who violates §§ 52.069 or 52.070 of this chapter may be punished by a fine of not more than $2,500 (see I.C. 36-1-3-8(10)). Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to, or in the alternative to, a fine, water service may be terminated for any user who violates §§ 52.069 or 52.070.
