SCHEDULE IX.  TRUCK ROUTES.
   (A)   The City of Brazil has determined that the streets and roads within the corporate limits of the city are not capable of handling heavy commercial and semitrailer truck traffic, and the Common Council deems it necessary to designate certain streets within the corporate limits of the City of Brazil under the jurisdiction of the city to be used for commercial truck traffic.
   (B)   A truck route is established within the corporate limits of the City of Brazil whereby commercial trucks and semi-tractor-trailer trucks shall be limited to the use of the following.

   (C)   This section shall in no way affect or supercede laws of the State of Indiana or the United States regarding the use of Highway U.S. 40 by truck traffic.
   (D)   Any person operating a truck on streets other than those designated in division (B) above shall be a violation of this section and shall be subject to a civil penalty as provided in § 70.99.
   (E)   (1)   Any person violating the provisions of this title shall be subject to a civil penalty of $12, unless otherwise specified in this section. The violator shall also be responsible for court costs for any violations filed in court in addition to the civil penalty.
      (2)   Whoever violates any provision of this schedule shall be subject to a civil penalty of $200. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.

      (4)   Any vehicle illegally parked shall be subject to being removed, towed and stored at the owner's expense.
