§ 70.03 ANGLE, PARALLEL PARKING.
   Angle parking shall be allowed only in areas designated for angle parking. In all other areas, all vehicles shall be parked parallel to the curb or edge of the roadway in accordance with state law.

§ 70.04 PARKING REGULATIONS.
   (A)   No person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle, or permit it to stand or remain, whether attended or unattended, in any of the following places:
      (1)   On any curb, crosswalk, or sidewalk;
      (2)   Along any curb marked with yellow paint;
      (3)   Within any intersection;
      (4)   Within ten feet of a fire hydrant;
      (5)   Within 20 feet of the entrance to a fire station;
      (6)   Within any restricted parking zone designated by the City Council;
      (7)   Double parking;
      (8)   Blocking any driveway or alleyway;
      (9)   In excess of a designated time limit or contrary to a posted parking prohibition;
      (10)   On any street where snow removal, street maintenance, cleaning, repair, or excavation is taking place, or where commencement of the work has been announced or posted, or where the work makes the street partially obstructed;
      (11)   On the wrong side of the street; and/or
      (12)   For the purpose of camping or sleeping in a motor vehicle within the city limits outside of areas designated for camping or sleeping.
   (B)   During the hours specified on any sign prohibiting or restricting parking, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle, or permit it to stand or remain, whether attended or unattended, for a period of time longer than is specified in the sign, and no vehicle shall be parked, allowed to stop or stand, nor shall any person stop, stand, or park any vehicle, or permit it to stand or remain, whether attended or unattended, in a zone where parking is prohibited.

§ 70.05 STREET MAINTENANCE, REPAIR.
   No person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle, or permit it to stand or remain, upon any street, whether attended or unattended, during the time as street repair is taking place.

§ 70.06 ABANDONED VEHICLES.
   All abandoned vehicles found within the city limits shall be dealt with in accordance with M.S. §§ 168B.01 through 168B.16, as they may be amended from time to time, except that a motor vehicle shall be considered abandoned when it has remained upon public property for a period of time in excess of 48 hours if the vehicle is illegally parked or inoperable, or when the vehicle has remained on private property for a period of excess of 48 hours without the consent of the owner or person having custody of the private premises, or if the vehicle is in inoperable condition.

§ 70.07 EXHIBITION DRIVING.
   No person shall turn, accelerate, decelerate, or otherwise operate a motor vehicle within the city in a manner which causes unnecessary engine noise or backfire, squealing tires, skidding, swaying, sliding, throwing sand or gravel, or in a manner simulating a race. Squealing or screeching sounds emitted by tires, or the throwing of sand or gravel by the tires, is prima facie evidence of violation of this section.

PARKING RULES
§ 70.20 PROHIBITIONS.
   No person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle, or permit it to stand or remain, whether attended or unattended, contrary to the following:
   (A)   Signs which have been erected as required by law or by order of the City Council; and/or
   (B)   Any provision of this subchapter.
