(A) (1) All permits authorized under this subchapter for handicapped or disabled parking shall be issued for a period ending January 1 of the fourth year following the date of issuance. All temporarily handicapped or disabled parking permits authorized under this subchapter shall be issued for a period ending 90 days from the date of issuance, but may be renewed for up to three additional 90-day periods.
(2) For each additional 90-day renewal period, there shall be submitted an additional application with proof of a handicap or disability and the required permit fee.
(B) A permit fee of $3 shall be charged for each permit, $2.50 of which shall be retained by the Municipal Clerk and $0.50 shall be forwarded on a quarterly basis to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
