§ 52.26  WELLHEAD PROTECTION AREA.
   WELLHEAD PROTECTION AREA means the surface and sub surface area surrounding a water well or well field, supplying public water system, through which contaminants are reasonably likely to move toward and reach such water well or well field. The wellhead protection area is designated for the purpose of protection the public water system. The boundaries of the wellhead protection area are legally described as follows: beginning at the north east corner of the SE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 2, Township 12N, Range 27 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska, thence south to the SE corner of Section 11, Township 12N, Range 27 West of the 6thP.M.; thence west to the south west corner of said Section 11; thence north to the northwest corner of the SW1/4 NW1/4 of Section 2, Township 12N, Range 27 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln, County Nebraska; thence east to the point of beginning. The wellhead protection area includes the S1/2 NE1/4 and the S1/2 NW1/4 of and also the S1/2 of Section 2, Township 12 North, Range 27 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska, and all of Section 11, Township 12 North, Range 27 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska. The boundaries of the wellhead protection area are set forth on a map which is available for review in the office of the Village Clerk.
