Within the meaning of this article, a fixture is a plumbing fixture or drain that connects to the sewer, including a toilet, wash basin or lavatory, bathtub or shower, laundry tub, kitchen sink, slop or wash sink, washing machine drain, or any fixture, machine, equipment or device connected to or discharging into the sewer.
