§ 99.12 CERTAIN TREES PROHIBITED.
   None of the following trees shall be planted upon a public place in the city without written permission of the City Arborist:
   Acer saccharinum (Silver Maple)
   Acer negundo (Boxelder)
   Aesculus species (Horse Chestnut, Buckeye)
   Ailanthus altissima (Tree of Heaven)
   Betula species (Birch species except River birch Betula nigra)
   Catalpa species (All Catalpa)
   Elaeagnus angustifolia (Russian Olive)
   Fruit Tree cultivars bred for fruit production
   Ginkgo biloba (Female Ginkgo)
   Juglans nigra (Black Walnut)
   Morus species (All Mulberry)
   Platanus occidentalis (Sycamore)
   Populus species (All poplar/cottonwood)
   Pyrus calleryana “Bradford” (Bradford Pear)
   Robinia pseudoacacia (Black Locust)
   Salix species (All Willow)
   Sorbus aucuparia (European Mountain Ash)
   Ulmus species susceptible to Dutch Elm disease
   Ulmus pumila (Siberian Elm)
