§ 71.30 DEFINITIONS.
   For purposes of §§ 71.31 through 71.33 the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them respectively.
   COMMERCIAL DRIVER’S LICENSE. The license issued to a person under R.C. Chapter 4506 to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
   COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE. Has the same meaning as in R.C. § 4506.01.
   DRIVER’S LICENSE. A class D license issued to any person to operate a motor vehicle or motor-driven cycle, other than a commercial motor vehicle, and includes PROBATIONARY LICENSE, RESTRICTED LICENSE, and any operator’s or chauffeur’s license issued before January 1, 1990.
   IDENTIFICATION CARD. A card issued under R.C. §§ 4507.50 and 4507.51.
   MOTORIZED BICYCLE LICENSE. The license issued under R.C. § 4511.521 to any person to operate a motorized bicycle including a probationary motorized bicycle license.
   PROBATIONARY LICENSE. The license issued to any person between 16 and 18 years of age to operate a motor vehicle.
   PROBATIONARY MOTORIZED BICYCLE LICENSE. The license issued under R.C. § 4511.521 to any person between 14 and 16 years of age to operate a motorized bicycle.
   RESIDENT. A person who, in accordance with standards prescribed in rules adopted by the registrar, resides in this state on a permanent basis.
   RESTRICTED LICENSE. The license issued to any person to operate a motor vehicle subject to conditions or restrictions imposed by the registrar of motor vehicles.
   TEMPORARY RESIDENT. A person who, in accordance with standards prescribed in rules adopted by the registrar, resides in this state on a temporary basis.
