§ 50.72 USE OF EXISTING CONNECTIONS; STORM DRAINAGE PROHIBITED.
No person, firm, or corporation located within sewer district No. 1 shall be permitted to dispose of sanitary sewerage wastes except through the sanitary sewer pumping system being constructed in sewer district No. 1, and except that persons now connected to the municipal sewerage system by some other connection will be permitted to continue to use the connection, but may not add additional buildings to any connection. No building permit for construction in sewer district No. 1 shall be issued until a tap permit has been granted as set forth in this chapter, or until the Board of Public Utilities has endorsed on the building permit application a statement that no permit is necessary because the construction proposed constitutes remodeling or an addition to an existing building already connected to the municipal sewerage system as of the effective date of §§ 50.70 through 50.74. No person, firm, or corporation shall drain storm or surface water, or roof or footer drainage, into the sanitary sewerage system.
