§ 90.02 RABIES INOCULATION; BITING.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to keep any adult dog or cat if that animal has not had its rabies or other inoculations administered by a licensed veterinarian as required by state law or by county regulations.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the owner or person having custody of any dog or cat which bites any human being to keep such dog or cat locked up in an enclosure for a period of two weeks following the time that the dog or cat has bitten the person; and to have the dog or cat examined by a physician or licensed veterinarian at the commencement and termination of this two-week period. If such dog or cat, during this period, shall die or shall show definite signs of illness, it shall be the duty of such owner or person having custody of the dog or cat to retain the animal and contact the Village Mayor and the County Sheriff immediately to make arrangements for the examination and disposal of the animal.
