Any person violating the provisions of this chapter, aiding the violation of this chapter or resisting, obstructing or impeding any authorized officer in enforcing this chapter, shall be fined the sum of $50 for the first violation, $100 for the second violation occurring within a 12-month period and $150 for the third and each successive violation within a 12-month period. Each day that a person fails to comply constitutes a separate offense. If legal action must be taken to enforce the provisions of this chapter, the village shall recover, in addition to the required fine, all costs and fees, including attorney’s fees.
