§ 34.22 HEALTH AND WELFARE BENEFITS.
   (A)   The cash compensation set forth in §§ 34.35 through 34.46 shall be in addition to the health and welfare benefits which are otherwise provided to full-time village employees, as determined by Village Council from time to time.
   (B)   An employee’s contribution for the employee’s health insurance premium shall be 10% per pay period for any employee desiring health insurance, including those plans which include dependents or family.
   (C)   (1)   If an employee desires health insurance for the employee or his or her dependents, pursuant to R.C. § 3917.04, the employee shall, in writing, authorize the premium amount to be deducted from each paycheck to the employee pursuant to the village’s regular pay cycle.
      (2)   DEPENDENT, as used in this section refers to either the spouse of the employee or all children of the employee, separately or exclusively.
      (3)   FAMILY, as used in this section refers to the employee’s spouse and children, jointly and in combination with each other.
   (D)   Employee contributions towards premiums will increase by 2% on the anniversary of the health insurance policy renewal until 20% contribution is reached.
