§ 53.01 REFUSE REMOVAL SERVICE.
   The refuse removal services regulations are hereby adopted by reference. A full copy can be found in the village offices.

§ 53.02 RATES AND CHARGES.
   (A)   (1)   The rate to purchase 30-gallon capacity bags for disposal of solid waste are as follows:
         (a)   Unlimited bags: $14.10;
         (b)   Per bag: $2.40; and
         (c)   Recycling: $3.28.
      (2)   No 50- to 55-gallon drums, items containing Freon, auto batteries or other hazardous materials are permitted.
   (B)   Bulk items that will not fit in the 30-gallon capacity bags can be disposed of by purchasing tags. The cost for one tag is $5 and the number of tags required for pickup is determined by the size of the item being disposed.
   (C)   The rate to rent a 96-gallon capacity tote provided by Republic Services for disposal of solid waste is $14.10.

§ 53.03 TRASH BINS AND CONTAINERS; PLACEMENT AND REMOVAL OF.
   (A)   Trash bins, totes, recycling bins and any other container designed for residential trash pickup shall not be placed at curbside before 12:00 p.m. the previous day to scheduled pickup. Trash bins, totes, recycling bins or any other container designed for residential trash pickup shall be removed from curbside no later than 8:00 p.m. the day of scheduled pickup.
   (B)   When not in use, trash bins, totes, recycling bins and any other container designed for residential trash pickup shall be stored out of sight from the street. The container may rest in a side or backyard but it shall be shielded from street view.
   (C)   This section does not apply to commercial trash, commercial dumpsters or roll-off containers.

§ 53.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   The penalty for violating § 53.03 shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation continues or occurs.
