For purposes of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. Vehicles used for employment or business purposes that are larger than a full size pick-up or a full-size van (larger than one ton), or commercial style vehicles, trailers, implements, and equipment regardless of size including, but not limited to, dump trucks, tow trucks, Bobcat style implements, and trailers carrying lawn service equipment.
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. A Boone County Sheriff's Deputy with the authority to issue a citation which may be referred to in this chapter as OFFICER.
PERSON. Any individual, partnership, corporation, association, or other organization of any kind, or their legal representative or agent.
PUBLIC PARKING AREA.
Any public parking area or lot owned or maintained by Boone County, the City of Union or the City of Walton.
STORAGE FACILITY.
A premise to hold a vehicle.
STREET/ROAD.
Any public thoroughfare or right of way located within unincorporated Boone County, the City of Union or the City of Walton.
TOWING SERVICE.
A business which provides a service to move by pulling or hauling a vehicle from one location to another
VEHICLE.
All agencies for the transportation of persons or property over or upon the public roads and streets, whether operable or inoperable.
