The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has, in KRS 67.083(3)(i) and 67.084, delegated to local government units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the Fiscal Court hereby adopts the following floodplain management chapter, as follows.
