§ 96.003 OVERHANGING OR PROTRUDING TREES, SHRUBS, FENCES, CANOPIES, AWNINGS, SIGNS AND THE LIKE.
   (A)   No person may cause or allow any tree limb, bush, shrub or other growth or similar obstruction to overhang a public street at a distance of less than 12 feet above the traveled portion of the street or to overhang any other public way at a distance of less than eight feet above the traveled surface.
   (B)    Except as authorized in writing under this chapter and permitted by the Unified Development Ordinance and all other pertinent laws, regulations and ordinances, no person may cause, authorize or allow any canopy, awning, sign or similar obstruction to overhang a public way.
   (C)   No person may cause or allow grass, vines, weeds or other vegetation to grow from property under his or her control over, onto or across any public way.
   (D)   No person may leave any animal unattended on any public way or on any town property.
   (E)   A situation maintained in violation of this section is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and is subject to the provisions of § 96.010 herein.
