A. Any person who violates any provision of this chapter or who fails to comply with a lawful order of the City Forester shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person convicted of a misdemeanor under the provisions of this chapter may be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. (1952 Code § 9-16-12; amd. 2019 Code)
B. In addition to any criminal penalties that may be imposed, the City may pursue civil penalties and restitution for actual damages as set forth in section 7-2-14 of this chapter. (1952 Code § 9-16-12)
