D103.5 Fire Apparatus Access Road Gates.
Amend item 5 as follows:
   5. Electric gates shall be equipped with an automatic opening mechanism activated by the Opticom system currently in use by the fire department and a Knox key switch. A stand-alone Knox key switch may be used in place of an Opticom system when approved by the Fire Code Official.
Add item 9 as follows:
   9. Electric gates shall be of a fail-open version in the event of loss of power.
