506.1 Key Boxes Where Required. Add a paragraph to the end of 506.1 to read as follows:

   Unless otherwise approved by the fire code official, key boxes are required for all structures with fire alarm or sprinkler systems that are connected to a monitoring service. For premises with 24-hour, on-location security, key boxes may not be required by the fire code official.
