(A) The following regulations shall apply to adult entertainment business as herein defined.
(B) The purpose of this subchapter is to promote the public health, safety and welfare through the regulation of adult entertainment businesses. It is the intent of these sections to regulate entertainment businesses, as defined herein, in such a manner as to prevent the erosion of the character of the surrounding neighborhoods and to prohibit the establishment of such businesses within close proximity to existing churches, amusement arcades, parks and playgrounds within the village.
