§ 150.18 REPAIR AND RESTORATION AFTER CASUALTY DAMAGE.
   (A)   Within a period of 30 days after casualty damage to any premises, the owner and/or operator shall have taken the following steps:
      (1)   Contracted for the repair and restoration of damaged structures or vegetation and the removal of debris; and/or
      (2)   Contracted for the demolition and removal of any part of the premises not to be repaired and restored and for the removal of debris in connection therewith.
   (B)   Such contracted work shall be completed within a reasonable time, not to exceed 90 days. For good cause, the Village Administrator may extend the time for completion of work provided that such extension is made to a date certain not to exceed an additional 90 days. Additional extensions may be granted only upon a demonstration of a substantial hardship in the completion of the repair or restoration and that property owner has made diligent efforts to correct the damage before seeking any further extensions. Failure to comply with the time limits or extensions granted shall be deemed a violation of this subchapter.
