(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 70.99.
(B) (1) Whoever violates §§ 76.13, 76.14 and Chapter 78 (excluding Schedule II) of the village shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined as follows:
1st offense within 1 year | $10 |
2nd offense within 1 year | $15 |
3rd and subsequent offense within 1 year | $30 |
(2) Fines shall be doubled if not paid in full within 30 days of violation or plea in a court of competent jurisdiction.
(3) Three or more violations of §§ 76.13, 76.14 and Chapter 78 (excluding Schedule II) that are not paid within one year from the first violation thereof shall result in the impounding of the vehicle. Said impounding is subject to R.C. §§ 4503.233 and 4503.235. The period of immobilization or impoundment shall be for a period of 30 days. That the owner of the vehicle shall be responsible for any and all costs associated with such impoundment.
(4) This division (B) does not modify, repeal or amend any other ordinance or means of enforcement available to the village including, but not limited to, the remedies and penalties set forth in R.C. § 4513.65.
