(A) Any person desiring to maintain or operate a laundry outlet or laundry vehicle in the city shall make application to the City Clerk for a license so to do, which application shall state the name of the person who owns or operates the laundry outlet or laundry vehicle, as the case may be, and in the case of a laundry outlet, the street address thereof, and in the case of a laundry vehicle, the name and type of the vehicle and the street address of the place where the same is kept or stored when not in use.
(B) Upon payment of the license fee, and upon compliance with the requirements of this subchapter, a license shall be issued authorizing the applicant to maintain or operate a laundry outlet or outlets or a laundry vehicle or vehicles or both as the case may be, and the City Clerk shall issue a suitable emblem which shall bear the words “laundry outlet” or “laundry vehicle”, as the case may be, which such emblem shall be displayed in a conspicuous place in the laundry outlet or shall be attached to such laundry vehicle in a plainly conspicuous place.
