§ 37.099 PROCEEDS FOR BENEFIT OF FIRE DEPARTMENT; TREASURER’S BOND.
   Any and all sums so received under the provisions of §§ 37.095 through 37.099, inclusive, shall be paid by the City Treasurer or to the Treasurer of the Fire Department and shall be kept by the latter, as a fund separate and apart from other funds in his or her hands, and shall be used for the maintenance, use and benefit of the Fire Department of the city, provided, however, that the Treasurer of the Fire Department shall give a sufficient bond to the city, to be approved by the Mayor, conditioned for the faithful performance of his or her duties under the ordinances passed by this city and the Treasurer of the Fire Department shall receive the money so collected and shall pay out the same, upon the order of the Fire Department, for the purposes of the maintenance, use, and benefit of the Department.
