(A) The operator of any vehicle proceeding on the streets and in the directions hereinafter designated, said street being within the City of Blue Island, shall stop such vehicle at the stop signs hereinafter provided before proceeding, except when directed to proceed by a police officer or as otherwise provided by law:

(B) Appropriate traffic signs shall be erected by the Superintendent of Public Works on each corner at or near the intersections listed above, informing the public that vehicular traffic traveling in every direction must stop before said intersection.
(C) The operator of any vehicle violating or failing to comply with any provisions of this schedule shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $750 for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
