(a)
to animals, as defined by state statute as may be amended from time to time or this city code, is prohibited.
(b) No
shall sponsor, promote, train an animal to participate in, or contribute to the involvement of an animal in any activity or event in which any animal is a victim of
as defined herein or is induced or encouraged to perform through the use of chemical, mechanical, electrical or manual devices in a manner that will cause or is likely to cause physical injury or suffering to the animal.
(c) All equipment used on a performing animal shall fit properly and be in good working condition.
