§ 8.24 SALE PROCEEDS BY NONPUBLIC IMPOUND LOTS.
   The operator of a may retain any proceeds derived from a sale conducted under the authority of state law. The operator may retain all proceeds from sale of any personal belongings and contents in the vehicle that were not claimed by the or the agent before the sale, except that any suspected contraband or other items that likely would be subject to forfeiture in a criminal trial must be turned over to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
