This chapter is enacted to establish standards for the regulation of traffic, vehicles and parking in the city to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the public. The principle objectives of this chapter of city code are:
(1) To provide traffic codes and regulations consistent with and supplemental to M.S. Chapters 168B and 169, as they may be amended from time to time;
(2) To prevent blight, and nuisance conditions associated with the storage of

and/or
; and
(3) To provide standards for the regulation of parking and no-parking zones within the city.
