9-1-7: VOLUME OF FLOW:
   A.   The volume of flow used for computing user charges shall be the metered water consumption read to the lowest even increments of one thousand (1,000) gallons. Should a discrepancy exist between a read from a remote reading device and a read from an inside reading device, the inside reading device shall govern. (Ord. 2011-19, 5-23-2011)
   B.   If the person, firm, corporation or other entity discharging waste into the public sewers procures some or all potable water from sources other than the Village waterworks system, all or part of which is discharged into the Village sewers, the person, firm, corporation or other entity shall install and maintain, at its expense, water meters of a type approved by the Building Commissioner for the purpose of determining the volume of water obtained from these other sources.
   C.   Devices for measuring the volume of sewage discharged may be required by the Building Commissioner if these volumes cannot otherwise be determined from the metered water consumption records.
   D.   Metering devices for determining the volume of sewage shall be installed, owned, and maintained by the person, firm, corporation or other entity. Following approval and installation, such meters may not be removed, unless service is canceled, without the written consent of the Building Commissioner.
