A. Requirements For Connections: No direct or indirect connections to or use of the Village waterworks or sewerage system shall be made without the issuance of all necessary permits, the payment of all applicable fees and charges, and only after at least forty eight (48) hours' notice is given to the Building Department by the permittee. B. Connection Fees Applicable: The connection charges included in this chapter are applicable to all connections made to the Village waterworks and sewerage system and are intended to reasonably compensate the Village for the cost of construction, expansion and extension of the works of the system, as authorized by 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-150-1, said fees being based on the determination of the Village Board that the fees set out herein are reasonable calculations of the amount each new user should equitably pay to reimburse the Village as described above. In addition to other fees included in this chapter, the applicant for water and sewer service shall pay to the Village, at the time of filing the permit application for water or sewer service, a connection fee in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
