8-3-4: CLOSURES:
The village board may designate all or any portion of the open space as closed temporarily, permanently, or for an indefinite period of time. Also, the village administrator may from time to time close all or a portion of the open space to the public or to certain animals, or both, as the village administrator determines necessary or desirable. A closure by the village administrator may be for a temporary, fixed period of time or for an indefinite period of time. Within two (2) business days of making a decision to close the open space or any portion thereof, the village administrator shall send notification of the closure to the village board. The village board may, at a regularly scheduled meeting, ratify, rescind or modify the closure decision of the village administrator. It shall be unlawful for any unauthorized person to enter any portion of the open space that is closed. All closures, whether temporary, permanent, or indefinite, and whether by the village administrator or by the board, shall be posted at the open space subject to the closure. (Ord. 2008-36, 8-11-2008)
