8-3-2: GROUP USE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   Permit Required: A group use permit is required for use of the open space by any group of twenty five (25) or more persons.
   B.   Request For Permit: Written requests shall be submitted to the chief of police at least twenty one (21) calendar days in advance of the date requested for group use of any portion of the open space, and must include the group affiliation, date and time of use, trails or areas to be used and other details of the requested group use.
   C.   Police Chief Recommendation: Within seven (7) calendar days of his/her receipt of a written request for a group use permit, the chief of police shall submit such request and a recommendation of approval or denial thereof to the village administrator.
   D.   Administrator Imposition Of Fee Or Denial Of Permit: If, in the opinion of the village administrator, the requested group use will cause significant impact to the natural environment or will require significant departmental resources, the village administrator may prescribe a fee that includes the costs expected to be incurred by the village in connection with the requested group use, or deny permission for the conduct of the requested group use.
