8-3-1: CONSENT REQUIRED FOR CERTAIN ACTIVITIES:
In the use of the open space, it shall be unlawful for any person to do or conduct, as the case may be, any of the following activities without the prior written consent of the duly appointed village administrator, or his or her designee:
   A.   Engage in any business or commercial purpose (such as, by way of example and not limitation, races or events; filming movies or commercials; or equipment demonstrations). Individuals engaging in still camera photography are exempt.
   B.   Drive, putt, or in any other fashion play or practice golf or use golf balls or golf clubs.
   C.   Operate, drive, park or ride upon any motorcycle, snowmobile, off highway vehicle, farm tractor, or any other motorized conveyance or device.
   D.   Operate or ride a bicycle, except on officially designated trails and only when those areas are not posted to prohibit such use.
   E.   Leave any garbage, trash, cans, bottles, papers or other refuse elsewhere than in the receptacles provided therefor; use any village trash or waste receptacles by depositing yard clippings or other garbage or trash generated on private property.
   F.   Encroach into the open space with any private improvements including, but not limited to, gardens, landscaping, fences, paths or compost piles, or store any personal property on the open space.
   G.   Use, distribute, or consume any alcoholic beverages.
   H.   Light or maintain a fire, grill, or stove; except, that fires in pits established and maintained by the village for that purpose are permitted. If, however, such fire constitutes a threat to public safety in the opinion of the police or fire chief, the fire shall be extinguished.
   I.   Set up or erect any tent or shelter in or run or string any public service utility into, upon or across any portion of the open space.
   J.   Enter, be or remain on the open space while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
   K.   Violate any official posted regulatory sign. (Ord. 2008-36, 8-11-2008)
