7-4-4: ISSUANCE OR DENIAL OF LICENSE:
   A.   The chief of police, upon receipt of a proper application, is authorized to issue a bicycle license. (Ord. 76-49, 7-26-1976; amd. Ord. 2002-13, 4-8-2002)
   B.   The chief of police, however, shall not issue a license for any bicycle when he knows, or has reasonable grounds to believe, that the applicant is not the owner of or entitled to the possession of such bicycle, or when such bicycle does not meet the requirements of this chapter.    C.   The chief of police shall keep a record of the number of each license, the date issued, the name and address of the person to whom issued and the number on the frame of the bicycle being licensed. (Ord. 76-49, 7-26-1976; amd. Ord. 2002-13, 4-8-2002)
