A. Deposits Prohibited: It is unlawful for any person to operate, park or maintain any vehicle on any public street or right-of-way within the Village under circumstances or conditions whereby such operation, parking or maintenance results in the tracking or deposit of any soil, clay, oil, tar or other substance (having a thickness of 1/8 inch or more) upon such street or right-of-way, except for the spreading of sand or other abrasive material for purposes of traction.
B. Responsibility For Employees: If a person violates the provisions of subsection A of this section while acting or serving as an employee, agent or servant, his employer, principal or master shall also be deemed in violation of subsection A of this section as to the same offense. C. Penalty: Any person, firm, corporation, partnership or association who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. (Ord. 62-5, 5-9-1962; amd. 2012 Code)
