No person shall operate a vehicle in the village unless it is equipped with all the equipment required by 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/12-101 et seq., and all such equipment is in good working order. Any failure to comply with the requirements of this section shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
