6-7-4: REWARDS:
   A.   The Village does hereby offer a reward of one hundred dollars ($100.00) to any person who, without having an affirmative duty to report the existence of graffiti, supplies information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person violating the provisions of this chapter. In the event of multiple contributors of information, the reward amount shall be divided by the Village in the manner it shall deem appropriate.
   B.   Claims for rewards under this section shall be filed through the Office of the Chief of Police who will make a recommendation to the Village Administrator. Each claim shall:
      1.   State the date, location and kind of property involved.
      2.   Identify the name of the person who was convicted or admitted to the violation of this chapter.
      3.   Identify the court and date upon which the conviction was entered or the place and the date of the administrative finding of guilt.
   C.   All claims for rewards must be approved by the Village Administrator. (Ord. 96-07, 1-22-1996)
