6-7-2: PROHIBITIONS:
   A.   It shall be unlawful, and it is hereby declared a nuisance, to place graffiti or permit graffiti to remain upon any public or private property including, without limitation, any sidewalk or street, tree, lamppost, utility box, utility pole, stanchion, postal mail receptacle, sign, hydrant, fence, door, wall, window, garage or enclosure, vehicle, bridge, or pier.
   B.   It shall be unlawful for any owner, tenant, or occupant of any property to place or give permission to place on such property, whether real or personal, which is in public view, any graffiti which incites violence by reference to gang or criminal activity, depicts or expresses "obscenity" as defined by the Statutes of the State of Illinois, 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-20, or contains defamatory material about a public or private person.
