(A) All water consumers shall be liable for the water service fees provided by ordinance unless and until the consumer shall, by written order, direct the Utilities Superintendent to shut off the water at the stop box, in which case the consumer shall not be liable thereafter for water service fees until the water is turned on again.
(1) Water rates within corporate limits:
(a) Meter fee, per month: $25; and
(b) Gallons used per month per 1,000 gallons: $3.
(2) Water rates outside corporate limits:
(a) Meter fee, per month: $25;
(b) Meter fee, per month for locations with meter pits: $26.50; and
(c) Gallons used per month per 1,000 gallons: $3.
(B) Water furnished by the load to customers and well drillers shall be charged at the rate of $15 per 1,000 gallons furnished.
(C) All such fees shall be on file for public inspection at the office of the Municipal Clerk. Water rates are effective for the March 2020 billings.
