Any criminal defendant who is incarcerated for violating this code shall, in addition to any fine or penalty imposed by the court, reimburse the city in the form of restitution for all charges incurred by the city for such incarceration. Failure to pay such restitution to the city shall be a violation of section 1-4-8 of this chapter. (2003 Code § 1-09-09)
